In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually blend in sugar, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in sour cream and vanilla until combined.

Fold in chocolate chips and pour the mixture over the cooled brownie base. Drizzle with caramel sauce before baking for 50-60 minutes until edges are set.
