Creamy Garlic Shrimp Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Shrimp

01 - 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
02 - 1 tbsp olive oil
03 - 1 tsp paprika
04 - 1/2 tsp black pepper
05 - 1/2 tsp salt

→ For the Sauce

06 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter
07 - 4 cloves garlic, minced or pureed
08 - 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
09 - 1/2 cup chicken broth or white wine
10 - 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
11 - 1 tsp Italian seasoning
12 - 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes, optional
13 - Salt and pepper, to taste

→ Garnish

14 - Fresh parsley, chopped

# Instructions:

01 - In a bowl, toss shrimp with paprika, salt, and pepper until well coated.
02 - Set stove to medium-high heat and heat olive oil in a large skillet. Once hot, add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, flipping each side until cooked through. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
03 - Reduce heat to medium and melt butter in the same skillet. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in chicken broth or wine and simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
04 - Pour in the heavy cream and stir thoroughly. Add Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
05 - Return cooked shrimp to the skillet and coat with the creamy sauce. Simmer on low heat for 2 minutes until heated through.
06 - Sprinkle the finished dish with fresh parsley. Serve with pasta, rice, or crusty bread as desired.
