Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwich (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 slices brioche or challah bread
02 - 4 oz cream cheese, softened
03 - 2 tbsp powdered sugar
04 - 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
05 - 1/4 cup strawberry jam
06 - 2 large eggs
07 - 3 tbsp milk
08 - 2 tbsp butter

# Instructions:

01 - Mix the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in a small bowl until smooth and creamy.
02 - Spread the cream cheese mixture onto one side of four slices of bread. Layer sliced strawberries and a spoonful of strawberry jam on top of the cream cheese. Cover with the remaining bread slices to form sandwiches.
03 - In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs and milk until combined.
04 - Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are evenly coated.
05 - Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Fry the sandwiches for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
06 - Remove sandwiches from the skillet and drain on a paper towel-lined plate. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
