Hot Honey Chicken Bowls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Chicken

01 - 1 ½ lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
05 - ½ teaspoon onion powder
06 - Salt and pepper, to taste

→ For the Hot Honey Sauce

07 - ⅓ cup honey
08 - 1–2 tablespoons hot sauce, to taste
09 - 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
10 - ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, optional

→ For the Bowls

11 - 2 cups cooked rice (white, brown, jasmine, or cauliflower rice)
12 - 1 cup roasted broccoli
13 - 1 cup roasted sweet potatoes or carrots
14 - ½ avocado, sliced
15 - ¼ cup pickled red onions, optional
16 - Greek yogurt or sour cream, for drizzling
17 - Fresh cilantro or green onions, for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken pieces with garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Sauté until golden brown and fully cooked, about 6–8 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
02 - Combine honey, hot sauce, apple cider vinegar, and crushed red pepper flakes in a small saucepan or skillet. Heat over low until just warmed and slightly thinned. Adjust sweetness or heat as desired. Pour half of the sauce over the cooked chicken, tossing to coat. Reserve the rest for drizzling.
03 - Layer cooked rice, roasted vegetables, and hot honey chicken in each bowl. Top with avocado slices, pickled onions, and a drizzle of yogurt or sour cream. Add a splash of reserved hot honey sauce and garnish with fresh herbs.
04 - Serve the bowls warm and enjoy a perfectly balanced meal.
