Marinated Tomato Burrata Salad (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 10 oz burrata cheese
02 - Balsamic glaze, for drizzling
03 - Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
04 - Olive oil, for drizzling

→ Marinated Tomatoes

05 - 1 lb grape or cherry tomatoes
06 - ¼ cup finely diced red onion
07 - 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh basil
08 - ½ teaspoon coarse sea salt
09 - ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
10 - 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
11 - 1 clove garlic, minced
12 - 1 tablespoon vinegar (preferred variety)

# Instructions:

01 - Slice the tomatoes in half lengthwise and place them in a large mixing bowl.
02 - Add diced red onion, chopped basil, sea salt, pepper, olive oil, minced garlic, and vinegar to the bowl. Stir everything well to combine.
03 - Let the tomato mixture marinate for at least 3 hours, or up to 24 hours. If marinating overnight, allow the mixture to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to an hour before serving.
04 - Arrange the marinated tomatoes on a platter or in a serving bowl. Tear open the burrata cheese and place it in the center of the plate or around the tomatoes.
05 - Drizzle the salad with olive oil, balsamic glaze, and a light sprinkle of Maldon salt. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
06 - Serve immediately or with crusty bread for dipping.
