# Ingredients:

01 - 3 medium-sized bananas, mashed
02 - 2 large eggs
03 - ½ cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
04 - 1 cup granulated sugar
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 1½ cups all-purpose flour
07 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
08 - ½ teaspoon salt
09 - 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan. Optionally, line the pan with parchment paper for easier removal.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth with a few small lumps. This enhances moisture and flavor.
03 - Add melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Whisk until fully combined and slightly creamy.
04 - In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold the dry mix into the wet mix, avoiding overmixing.
05 - Reserve a small handful of chocolate chips for topping (optional) and fold the rest into the batter gently for even distribution.
06 - Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Optionally, sprinkle the reserved chocolate chips on top. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean (chocolate streaks are fine).
