# Ingredients:

→ Base ingredients

01 - 4 croissants, roughly chopped
02 - 1 cup orange marmalade
03 - 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, at room temperature
04 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
05 - 2 large eggs
06 - 1 cup whole milk
07 - Zest from one orange
08 - 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 2-quart baking dish (an 8-inch square dish works well) with butter or nonstick spray.
02 - In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
03 - Add the granulated sugar and beat until fully incorporated. Then, add the eggs, whole milk, orange zest, and almond extract, mixing until well combined.
04 - Place the chopped croissants in the prepared baking dish. Distribute dollops of orange marmalade among the croissants, stirring slightly if needed to spread it out.
05 - Pour the cream cheese mixture over the croissants. Cover the dish tightly with foil.
06 - Bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
07 - Let the bake cool slightly before serving. Dust with powdered sugar if you like, and enjoy!
