Overnight Blueberry French Toast (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cream Cheese Mixture

01 - 8 ounces softened cream cheese
02 - 1 cup powdered sugar
03 - 2 tablespoons milk
04 - 1 tablespoon vanilla extract, split
05 - 1 cup blueberries

→ Bread Layers

06 - 2 loaves cubed French bread

→ Egg Mixture

07 - 2 cups milk
08 - 8 eggs
09 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
10 - 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
11 - 1 cup blueberries

# Instructions:

01 - In a bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in 1 cup of blueberries.
02 - Layer the bottom of a 10×14-inch baking dish with cubed French bread to create an even base. Spread the cream cheese mixture over this layer. Place the remaining bread cubes on top as a second layer.
03 - In a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg until fully combined. Pour this mixture over the layered bread in the baking dish, ensuring all the bread is soaked. Sprinkle 1 cup of blueberries on top. Cover with aluminum foil and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
04 - Remove the dish from the refrigerator 30 to 60 minutes before baking. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
05 - Bake the dish in the preheated oven for 45 minutes with the foil on. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 30 minutes or until the center is set and the top is lightly browned. The total baking time is approximately 75 minutes.
06 - Let the dish cool slightly after removing it from the oven. Serve warm and enjoy your creamy, blueberry-infused casserole.
