Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 slices bread, sourdough, wheat, Italian or French loaf, ½ inch thick pieces
02 - 1 large avocado
03 - ¼ teaspoon lemon juice
04 - ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
05 - ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
06 - ¼ cup cream cheese
07 - ¼ cup sliced tomatoes, ⅛ inch thick (8 slices)
08 - ¼ cup sliced cucumber, ⅛ inch thick (8 slices)
09 - 2 ounces smoked salmon or lox
10 - 2 tablespoons red onion, sliced, ⅛ inch thick
11 - 1 tablespoon capers
12 - 2 teaspoons dill leaves

# Instructions:

01 - Scoop out both sides of the avocado flesh into a small bowl. Add ¼ teaspoon lemon juice, kosher salt, and black pepper. Lightly mash with a fork, leaving some chunks.
02 - Spread the cream cheese evenly over the toasted bread slices.
03 - Spread the avocado mixture onto the toast. Layer tomato slices, cucumber slices, smoked salmon, red onions, capers, and dill leaves on top. Season with black pepper.
