02 - 1 tablespoon butter
03 - 1 tablespoon minced garlic
04 - 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
05 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
06 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
07 - 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

→ Vegetables and Toppings

08 - 1 medium onion, cut into 1/4-inch slices
09 - 1/2 pound button mushrooms, sliced
10 - 2 slices Monterey Jack cheese
11 - Salt to taste
12 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
13 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
14 - Extra butter, as needed

# Instructions:

01 - Prepare the chicken breasts by pounding them to an even thickness if needed. This ensures even cooking.
02 - Combine soy sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, and smoked paprika in a bowl. Place chicken breasts in this marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes for better flavor.
03 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onions and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until tender and slightly caramelized. Set aside.
04 - In the same skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Place the marinated chicken breasts in the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked through. Season with salt and pepper during cooking.
05 - Place a slice of Monterey Jack cheese on each cooked chicken breast. Cover the skillet with a lid and let the cheese melt for 1-2 minutes.
06 - Top the melted cheese-covered chicken breasts with the sautéed onions and mushrooms. Let it sit in the skillet for another 1-2 minutes to meld the flavors. Serve immediately.
