# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
02 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1/2 cup light brown sugar, gently packed
04 - 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
05 - 1 large egg
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
07 - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
08 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
09 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - In a stand mixer with a paddle attachment, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
03 - Add peanut butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well, scraping the bowl as needed.
04 - In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
05 - Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Avoid overmixing.
06 - Scoop tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper, spacing them 2 inches apart.
