Turkey Bacon Cheeseburger Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1.5 pounds Ground Beef (700g), 75-25%
02 - 6 slices Turkey Bacon, chopped
03 - 3 large Eggs
04 - 7 oz Cheddar Cheese (200g), divided
05 - 5 fl oz Double Cream / Heavy Cream (150ml)
06 - Butter, for greasing
07 - 1/2 teaspoon Salt

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a frying pan with butter.
02 - Chop three pieces of turkey bacon and add to the frying pan with ground beef, salt, and pepper. Cook until the mixture is lightly browned.
03 - Transfer the cooked beef and bacon mixture to a baking dish.
04 - Whisk three eggs in a bowl, then pour over the meat mixture in the baking dish. Add double cream and half of the grated cheddar cheese, mixing well.
05 - Top the dish with the remaining cheese and three more chopped pieces of turkey bacon.
06 - Bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
