Add almonds to the food processor and pulse until finely minced, ensuring not to over-process into almond meal.

Add the date ball, minced almonds, peanut butter, and warm quinoa to the food processor. Pulse until the mixture is well combined.

Add the chocolate chips and pulse until they are evenly distributed and melted into the mixture.

Transfer the mixture back to the mixing bowl. Shape it into 24 one-inch drops or balls. Roll in crushed almonds if desired. Place on a dish and refrigerate until set.
